About Hanif
Meet Hanif, the heart and soul behind Crest Jewellers, whose journey in the realm of fine jewellery began over 30 years ago. While earning his BBA at SFU, Hanif discovered his deep-seated passion for jewellery craftsmanship, especially diamonds, which has shone brightly throughout his career.
As a vanguard in the field, Hanif was among the first to introduce clients to the art of wax modelling, a method that allowed individuals to envisage their jewellery before it was crafted. His pioneering spirit did not stop there; as technology advanced, so did Hanif, embracing 3D printing to further refine and perfect the design process.
Hanif’s commitment to his clients is unparalleled. With a belief system grounded in customer satisfaction, he launched the Platinum Service, offering lifetime no-charge sizing, polishing, and a lifetime guarantee that covers small diamonds. This exemplifies Hanif’s ethos of standing firmly behind every product and service provided.
About Soraya
Soraya is honoured to be part of the next generation continuing Crest Jewellers legacy in the custom jewellery space. In addition to earning her BA in Political Science and HR Management degree, Soraya has also studied jewellery art and design.
Soraya is passionate about people and client relations, and is always looking for ways to deliver an outstanding experience. She has had the opportunity to work in many different roles in various industries over the years – from working with female entrepreneurs in the non-profit space, to a traditional HR role in the tech industry, to co-owning a residential and commercial painting business.
Growing up in the industry, Soraya’s affinity for pretty, sparkly things started young, and she always knew she would find her way back to her roots.
When she’s not working, you can find Soraya hanging out with her partner and their two dogs, trying new restaurants, or simply enjoying a Matcha latte at the nearest coffee shop.
