I was looking for a custom design for an engagement ring. I visited about 3 recommended jewellers before visiting Crest Jewellers. The difference was immediately noticed. In previous experiences, I felt overwhelmed and frankly out of place. Once Soraya and I stated talking I was put at ease with her disarming and down-to-earth demeanor. She asked questions of what i was looking for, type of stone, and design details. Soraya listened and didn't pressure me at all. Once we came up with the design, Soraya walked me through the process, helped me select the stones for the ring, and laid out time frames. Crest Jewellers list honesy, integrity, and quality as what they stand for. I can assure everyone that this is true. In my experience Soraya helped me pick between two stones for the ring and lead me to choose the smaller (less expensive) stone because of the colour and how it would work with the design. Soraya was 100% correct and the finished product is fantastic. I really couldn't have hoped for a better designed ring for my fiancé and I couldn't have had a better person then Soraya to help. I prefer it that way since the owner Hanif and his daughter are able to put more focus into the product. Hanif saw us just before the store opened. He personally educated us on the diamonds and all the 4Cs and gave us a brief summary of his family business. He has this very cool proprietary system set up where he uses magnets to help you find your perfect ring combination. It was so much fun and very useful, because it turned out that what I want from just pictures is very different from what looked good on me! So that was a huge plus. It takes about a month from design to finish so I'm excited to see what the final look is.
